Meet Some of Our Staff

Ann is one of our customer service representatives for Jefferson Utilities. Ann is one of the bubbly voices you will hear when calling into our office on any given day.  She is a proud wife, mother, grandmother and friend to her family and work family.

Dana is one of our second customer service representative for Jefferson Utilities. Dana is another one of those bubbly voices you will hear when calling into our office.  She is a proud wife, mother and friend to her family and work family.

These two ladies are the heart and soul of the front office.

Jody joined the Jefferson Utilities’ team in 2011 as part of our accounting team.  She was promoted to the role of Controller for Jefferson Utilities in which she oversees all financial matters for the company.  She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Purdue University. Jody is a proud mother to two adorable children and is a friend to many.

Kim joined the Jefferson Utilities’ team in 2018 as part of our accounting team and has an Associate’s Degree in Accounting.  She is a proud wife, mother and friend to her family and work family. Kim’s infectious laughter makes everyone around her smile; along with her love for the Pixar minion creations that are proudly displayed within her office.

B. Lee Snyder has owned Jefferson Utilities since its creation in 1985.  Lee’s ultimate vision of sustainable water for Jefferson County is what has steered Jefferson Utilities into the company it has become. Lee has  a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Shepherd University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from Shepherd University, a Class III Water and Waste Water Operator.  Lee has worked his entire life to help ensure the prosperity and dependability of Jefferson Utilities and the community around us. Lee has been featured in Construction News and many other articles notating his many life achievements. Lee is a proud husband and grandfather.

Stephanie Reel joined the Jefferson Utilities’ team in February 2010.  She began her career in land development working for Dewberry & Davis within their engineering department. Unbeknown to her, she would be managing the water system many years later that she use to help draft and design in the Ranson, WV office.  Coming full circle, she became the General Manager for all the utilities owned by Lee Snyder in 2013 while learning everything she could of the communities we serve. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Business Management and is a Class I Water Operator. She is a proud mother to two children.

Jeff Pippel has been working with Jefferson Utilities since 1991 as the systems Chief Plant Operator.  Jeff has a Bachelors Degree of Science & Environmental Studies and an Associates Degree in Ecology and Environmental Technology.  Jeff was awarded the 2016 Perkins-Boynton Award from the WV Section of the American Water Works Association and the WV Bureau of Public Health.  Jeff is known for his easy-going nature, dependability and extensive knowledge in the water and sewer industry countywide.  Jeff is a proud husband and father.
